Danny Rowe is a self-taught artist from Middlesbrough, England, currently living and working in London.
His work incorporates hard-edge painting and geometric shapes of colour that are layered and textured. His surfaces allow for freedom and evolution within the paint application, often with no definitive vision for the end result.
My work is an expressionist journey beyond representation, in which I experiment with surrealist and minimalist ideas. I don’t seek to depict reality, but rather to escape it.
